Q: TO WHOM DO YOU AWARD FRANCHISES?
A: To people with preferably successful professional track record, not necessarily in the food business, and with emphasis on people-handling skills and management. Franchisee should be motivated to succeed and be outgoing people with a good entrepreneurial spirit. It is important that franchisee accepts the pros and cons of franchising; those that desire total control are not suitable to be franchisees.
Q: DO YOU REQUIRE HANDS-ON MANAGEMENT FROM THE FRANCHISEE?
A: It is preferred; however, if not possible, the Franchisee must hire a professional Manager, which will be rigorously trained by the Franchisor.
Q: WHAT ARE THE ADVERTISEMENT FEES?
A: They are: 1% of Gross Sales for Local Store Marketing to be spent by the Franchisee to promote BISTRO ANGELO within his/her territory; P10, 000.00 for the Grand Opening of the outlet; and 3% of Gross Sales for the National Advertising Fund, when such is established.
Q: WILL BISTRO ANGELO PROVIDE THE SITE CONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDING OR OUTLET?
A: Each Franchisee is responsible for securing his own location. BISTRO ANGELO prefers Franchisee to be located in towns and suburbs. All potential sites must be submitted to BISTRO ANGELO Corporate Office for approval. The building construction and renovations are entirely at the expense of the Franchisee.
Q: WHO WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IN THE STORE LAYOUT?
A: The Franchisee will be furnished with a floor plan, sketch and basic specification for a BISTRO ANGELO outlet and the architect of Franchisee is in charge in customizing the basic plan to the dimension of the proposed location under the supervision of a BISTRO ANGELO in-house architect and approval by BISTRO ANGELO Corporate Office.
Q: IS THE FRANCHISEE REQUIRED TO BUY ALL HIS EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLY NEEDS FROM BISTRO ANGELO?
A: As a BISTRO ANGELO Franchisee, you are required to purchase from specific suppliers as stipulated in the Procurement Program.
Q: WHAT PRE-OPENING SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
A: Prior to and upon opening, BISTRO ANGELO representatives will assist you with training personnel, ordering equipment and inventory, marketing, and arranging the Grand Opening.
Q: WHAT ABOUT TRAINING?
A: BISTRO ANGELO has spent a great deal of time and effort in developing its products and system, and accepts no compromise in quality control. We require Franchisees, Managers, Cooks and Service Crews to complete our training program and demonstrate mastery of certain skills. The cost of training is already included in the Franchise Fee.
