I just bought a 2-in-1 package from Filtrep although I didn’t specify yet what food products I’m taking, so it’s indicated ‘Concept to follow’ in my receipt. I’m having quite a dilemma in finding a location because almost all prospective locations I’ve seen so far already have siopao, siomai, noddles, burgers, balls. I availed the services of a locator for an add’l fee of P2.5k but he was not much of help initially as he was nowhere to be seen, heard & felt the first two weeks. So what I’m doing now is I myself am going out now scouting for locations & also googling around in the net.
My sound advice for would-be franchisees is to look for a location first before getting a franchise. But then the other problem is it takes 2-3 weeks before the cart is released so you have to make a special arrangement with the lessor for the waiting time.
Any prospective tips on locations for rent (affordable & not far from makati) will be appreciated.

Just a comment, Filtrep is trying to sell a system which is not applicable to people whose mindset are not yet ready to explore themselves to a business. Marami product or service available sa labas. anjan ang mga china products, mga kakanin o snacks sa mga tabitabi or bangketa. everything may satisfy your need or rather may cause you damage. nakakatrauma lng yun experience kung di mo lng tlga linya yun pinasok mo. walang magic formula sa business just experience, making mistake is oportunity to learn something new. go try other venture kung di mo trip yun foodcart.

Filtrep is not a bad MLM nor a bad food cart business. I was a former member of it – yun nga lang gaya nang sabi nung iba – e nawawala yung pinaka nature nung business which is yung food cart selling talaga. Yung iba (hindi lahat) lalo na yung mga bago e recruiting nalang halos ang alam at MLM explanations but not much on the food cart. When you ask them about it, di nila ma explain at sabihin nila na makinig ka nalang later sa seminar at dun mag tanong about food carts. I left not because hindi ako kumikita, nor dahil close minded ako o hindi positive at na burn out, kundi dahil hindi ko na nakikita sa ibang members yung sense of the business. Mga uplines (mga nauna mula kay sir A.M Eder hanggang kay MJ, and “friends”. ) nalang yata talaga ang nakakaintindi nung nature nag business nila.
Pero kung marunong ka talaga sa business, maganda panimula ang food carts nila.
