In 1995, R.Lapid’s innovated and standardized the system of processing Chicharon. It is the first to introduce cooking of Chicharon in front of the customers inside big establishments such as SM Malls, Robinsons and Landmark Supermarket, to name a few. It is also the first Chicharon manufacturer to use imported pork skin raw materials from U.S.A., Europe, Canada and Korea.

Lapid’s is accredited by the National Meat Inspection Commission (NMIC); Registered in the National Library as a Copyright Claimant since 1996; Registered with the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) for the protection of its trademark since 2000; Licensed to operate as a food manufacturer by the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD), which also issued a certificate of registration for each of its products.
