It had been twelve years of hard work, continuous innovation and persistence that made Angelu’s Mixed Rice a hit food business at the heart of Mindoro. Angelu’s Mixed Rice was the very first business with this”tapsilog” with a twist type of business at the said place. It started last April 20, 2002 with a small outlet situated at Del Pilar St., San Vicente East, Calapan City. Unlike other outlet that they have now, the outlet before was just a selling area of the first five menus that they have. No dining area at all.
The early years had been tough for Angelus. However, as years pass by, people begin to patronize their product for being affordable yet satisfying food. With this, the owner, Mr. De Leon, decided to expand their location by transferring to a place nearby the first outlet. At 2005, it became a restaurant type business where the customers can eat their orders. As it begins to grow, they also added another menu to satisfy the needs of the customer. In twelve years, there are some menus that were removed from the list.
To this date, the existing menus are proven to be the most patronized product of Angelu’s Mixed Rice. The specialties are Binudbud Original Flavor/ Garlic Rice topped with scrambled egg, diced tomato and spring onions with 8 viands to choose from. Today, Angelu’s Mixed Rice has a restaurant type outlet and a food stall outlet found at Calapan, Mindoro. Aiming to have more branches, they are now open for franchising Angelu’s Mixed Rice.
