Ground Zero House of Pizza is owned and managed by two friends who were once working in Jeddah. Tired of working abroad, the two decided to up their own business. They opt to introduce a dine in restaurant specializes in gourmet pizza; thin crust and breadsticks, and sandwiches, pasta and the best selling Kalissa (folded pizza).

The town of Lucban, Quezon, home of Pahiyas Festival, is where the first Ground Zero House of Pizza was opened on April 14, 2001.

Since Ground Zero House of Pizza is the first restaurant in Lucban serving different kind of Pizza and serving pizza with beer, Ground Zero House of Pizza become known in the town as well as in the nearby town of Quezon. The old house and the taste of the food become popular to the customers.

In 2005, Ground Zero House of Pizza was featured in the F&B World Magazine March/April edition.
