Hayashi Breads is an emerging player in the local bakery landscape uniquely known for its over-the-counter set-up, where it is serves ONLY HOT, OVEN FRESH bread. It is popular for its delicious, thick and fully loaded yaki manju (toasted siopao) and shio pan (hot pandesal). The bakery was established by Mr. Katsumi Hayashi, a Japanese baker of 25 years and Mr. Ronaldo Causon, a serial entrepreneur with two decades of established business practice under his belt.
Hayashi Breads opened its first branch in February 2015 in Butuan City. It did not take long for Butuanons to take notice of the new bakery. Word-of-mouth and long queues which ran from morning until evening intrigued the curious customer. And the bread products did NOT disappoint. Oishisou! After just a month of operations, Hayashi Breads became a local favorite and a hit among customers!
Through its flagship products, yaki manju (toasted siopao) and shio pan (hot pandesal), Hayashi Breads was able to introduce variants of pan with a fusion of Japanese baking without compromising the Filipino taste buds. Using rice flour as one of its main ingredients, customers get to enjoy premium breads with great value for money.
The bakery’s roster of products has grown with the brand as well. In efforts to satisfy the demands of its patrons, it has now introduced additions to the menu: kare pan, tamagoyaki, double cheese, tuna pie, custard cream pan, choco custard and loaf bread.
To date, Hayashi Breads has already established 9 strategically located branches in Mindanao.
