Chapter 542 – Preemptive Attack
Chapter 542 – Preemptive Attack
The grand wedding banquet was held at multiple venues throughout Holy Cat City. There were several locations prepared for the general citizens to celebrate, while the exclusive banquet for specially invited important guests took place at the Alchemy Association Tower, the tallest and most magnificent building in the entire city.As Leyvi had expected, his sister-in-law Vivian and Elder Bobori had arrived from Mountain Dew Sect, bringing their son Jojori with them. Since Vivian was here, Lilian naturally came over and stuck close to her sister. As usual, the two "melon sisters" attracted quite a lot of attention from the guests around them.
His nephew, whom he had not seen for six years, had grown significantly. Jojori was now a twelve-year-old boy.
"Jojori, do you still remember Uncle?" Leyvi asked with a warm smile as he gently patted the boy's head.
Jojori blinked his innocent eyes for a moment before nodding. "I remember. But Uncle Leyvi looks different from the pictures."
Leyvi was momentarily stunned, then smiled wryly. He had forgotten that Vivian and Jojori visited the Leyan Family at least once a year. That meant Jojori had seen plenty of his pictures and would not have forgotten him.
In the Leyan Family mansion, there were many framed pictures of him and the rest of the family. Most of them had been arranged by Anda, who loved collecting and displaying family memories.
However, the majority of Leyvi's framed pictures around the mansion showed him making goofy or silly expressions. The contrast between those images and how well-dressed and dignified he looked today was quite striking. Jojori's honest reaction was completely understandable.
"Hahaha. Next time you see Uncle, I'll look like my usual self again," Leyvi replied with a chuckle. "Today is a special occasion."
He then casually sent his spiritual sense into Jojori's body, checking his spirit root. It was only a mid-grade wood element spirit root. This wasn't a big issue. Later, when he visited the Mountain Dew Sect, he could simply let Jojori eat the peach and upgrade his spirit root to top grade.
"I know that you will continue marrying more wives in the future," Vivian reminded him gently as they chatted. "But please don't neglect my little sister."
"Sister, just look at her," Leyvi replied with a warm smile. "Does she look like she's being neglected?" As a husband, he felt that he had done quite well in taking care of all his wives.
Vivian smiled back. "I know you're good to Lilian. I'm just reminding you."
How could she not know? Leyvi treated his women far better than most men ever would. In Bara City, many people even viewed him as a role model husband. She truly had nothing to complain about.
After chatting pleasantly with Vivian and Bobori for a while, Leyvi moved on to greet more of his acquaintances.
He met with Selene's parents, his father-in-law Magnus Goldstone and his mother-in-law Aina Aventurine.
Magnus thanked Leyvi sincerely, expressing deep gratitude that he had looked after Victor throughout the Mystic Realm expedition. Although the true events of what happened inside the Mystic Realm had been suppressed from spreading to the public, Victor had told his father everything. Without Leyvi's protection and help, his son would likely have perished.
Then, Leyvi was lightly scolded by Selene's mother, Aina, for not bringing Selene to visit her even once after so many years. He did not try to argue or make excuses, even though he had valid reasons. How could he argue with a mother who was simply worried about her daughter?
Of course, Selene argued back on his behalf, explaining that Leyvi had been busy with cultivation and the dangers of the Mystic Realm. However, Aina refused to back down and continued voicing her complaints to her daughter. It was only after Leyvi gifted her with several pieces of beautiful ancient jewelry he had obtained from the Colossal Tree that her mood finally improved.
Afterward, Leyvi also met with Ava's brother, Vitali Clover, and Dorin's father, Tordin Homun.
As usual, the shameless Vitali could not resist making a stupid remark. It earned him a solid beating from Ava. However, this time he was genuinely shocked by how strong his younger sister had become. For decades, Ava's strength had remained relatively stagnant with almost no noticeable improvement. Yet now, her power had clearly taken a huge leap forward.
If he had not quickly reinforced his defensive Qi, he would have suffered more than just external injuries. This could only mean one thing. His sister had finally found a proper way to continue advancing her body cultivation. Without any shame, he immediately asked her for the continuation method, only to be beaten once again.
As for Tordin Homun, the interaction between him and Dorin was noticeably awkward. Leyvi had brought her over to meet her father, but Dorin refused to even look at him. She only spoke with her older sister, Norin Homun. Leyvi did not blame her for this. After all, she had been publicly disowned by the Homun Family in the past.
Her identity now was no longer that of the Young Lady of the Homun Family. She was the Alchemist Master of the Leyan Family. Most of the alchemy products circulating in Bara City these days were her creations.
Although she had not yet reached the level of her older sister, who had become an Alchemist Grandmaster, her skills were more than enough for her to earn high respect and recognition throughout Bara City.
After that, Leyvi continued greeting more guests who had come to congratulate him, exchanging pleasant words and thanks with each of them.

Later that night, after cleaning himself up, Leyvi stepped out of his room. Just outside the door, Sheila was already waiting for him.
"Master Leyvi, Lady Caterina has been waiting in the master bedroom, ready to consummate the marriage," Sheila informed him in her usual calm and clear voice.
"Master Leyvi?" Leyvi smiled slightly. "Ms. Sheila, I'm not really used to that kind of honorific. You can just call me Leyvi."
"Not possible," Sheila replied firmly. "You are now the husband of my Lady Caterina, so I must address you appropriately."
Leyvi chuckled softly. "Alright, do as you like then. Please lead the way."
Sheila did not move immediately. Instead, she took out a small bottle of pills from her sleeve and handed it to him.
"What's this?" Leyvi asked, looking at the bottle with confusion.
"This is a precautionary measure," Sheila explained. "Please take it before engaging with Lady Caterina. While you were in the Mystic Realm, she worked together with a capable alchemist to create this special product. It significantly lowers the chance of you becoming impotent after being intimate with her."
Leyvi blinked, staring at the pills and then back at Sheila. "I've heard the rumors… Is it really that serious?"
Sheila nodded solemnly. "Yes. It wasn't just a rumor."
Leyvi was silent for a moment before he took the bottle from her hand. "Alright. I'll accept her kind gesture. In return, I'll do my best. Anda already made a promise on my behalf after all. As their husband, I can't disappoint any of them. Ms. Sheila, please lead the way."
"Ah… yes. Please follow me," Sheila said, slightly surprised.
Leyvi's reaction was completely different from what she had expected. She thought that after confirming the rumor was true, he would become nervous or even fearful. After all, he already had many wives. Becoming impotent would be a catastrophic disaster for him.
Instead, he looked even more motivated and courageous. As a Nascent Soul Realm secretary who managed much of the city's affairs and constantly dealt with all kinds of people, Sheila's ability to sense soul fluctuations was exceptional. She could clearly tell that Leyvi's spirit had grown stronger and more determined after hearing the truth.
And Sheila was right. Leyvi had indeed become more motivated. The fact that Caterina had gone out of her way to prepare those pills for him showed just how considerate she truly was.
If before he was doing this mainly so Anda wouldn't lose her bet, now he had a different reason. He wanted to fulfill the desire Caterina had been holding back for so long. A caring wife deserved a caring husband. He would do his best to satisfy her.
Soon, Leyvi and Sheila arrived at the master bedroom.
Leyvi gave Sheila a small nod before pushing open the door and stepping inside.
The sight that greeted him was breathtaking.
Caterina was lying gracefully on her side on the large bed, facing him. She wore a sheer, transparent nightgown that teasingly revealed the voluptuous and perfectly sculpted curves of her body beneath it. It was a figure that had been meticulously refined, designed to ignite desire in any man who laid eyes on it.
Even Leyvi, who had become quite skilled at controlling his own desires, felt his body react strongly to the sight.
Caterina slowly propped herself up, her movements elegant and seductive. She looked at him with a charming smile and said softly, "You can still back off, you know. I don't mind waiting until you're truly ready."
Leyvi smiled gently and walked toward the bed. He climbed onto it slowly, pulled her into his embrace with one arm, and let his other hand glide across her smooth stomach before moving higher. Her full, plump breast filled his palm, soft flesh spilling between his fingers.
"Are you sure you want to wait, my wife Rina?" Leyvi whispered directly into her ear, launching a preemptive attack.
But this was no ordinary whisper. It carried the power of his mantra, stimulating her brain. He went all out from the very beginning, determined to give her the best experience possible.
The effect was immediate.
"Ahhhhhh!!!"
Caterina let out a loud, trembling moan. Her entire body shook as waves of intense pleasure surged through every sensitive part of her.
